QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Preferably minimum of 2 years functioning as Payroll Head
Handled payroll processes for more than 500 employees
In-depth knowledge in Philippine labor & income tax laws & statutory requirements strongly preferred
Experienced in different payroll & timekeeping software
Must be willing to work in Novaliches Quezon City
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees the end to end payroll processing for more than 500 employees
Ensure daily payroll functions are completed in a timely manner and in full compliance with company policies, work time regulations and labor laws
Performs daily work with medium to high complexity, including weekly, semi-monthly/monthly payroll calculations, payroll registers, final payment calculations, data input in payroll system, preparation of employer's statutory returns & others
Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
Prepares various Payroll reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual) including statutory requirements (remittances), BIR 2316 & Alphalist
Develop & enforce payroll policies and procedures to ensure proper internal controls and efficient processes
Recommends and oversee payroll system changes and system upgrades to streamline the payroll process
Maintains employee confidence & protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Mentor, coach and provide expertise and guidance to existing payroll teams
Performs other duties as may be assigned
