Job Description
I. JOB MISSION/SUMMARY
To assist Payroll section in processing and administering the company payrolls. The position also ensures confidentiality of employees' data, and assists the department in administration of other employees' benefits and programs.
II. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all salary payroll are processed and credited on time.
1. Process company payrolls (weekly and semi-monthly):
2. Monitor and ensure release of employees' salary as per scheduled date.
3. Download and upload of time log in and out daily
4. Monitors and files employees log-in and log-out records endorsed by assigned security guard; makes necessary correction on employees log-in/log-out upon advise or consultation to immediate superior every cut-off.
5. Assist Payroll Supervisor in preparing check and seeking approval for payroll, allowances and last pay from authorized signatories.
6. Generates payroll journal of weekly and semi-monthly payroll
7. Process computation of last pay
8. Generates monthly remittance reports such as Withholding Tax, Philhealth, SSS, Pag-ibig loan and contribution to be submitted to Financial services group every 1st week of the following month and generate soft copy for posting.
9. Prepares monthly breakdown of union dues and union loan for processing every 1st week of the following month.
10. Generates weekly attendance report of collectors to be submitted to HRD for the computation of meal allowance.
11. Calculates Back pay of wage increase (Company, labor and CBA) if not implemented on time.
Coordinate with all concerned parties (internal or external) issues relative to the section.
1. Attends payroll queries from employees
2. Coordinate with bank the releasing of ATM and paycards
3. Coordinate with HRD the clearance and 201 file for processing last pay of resigned employee
III. Job Specification, Competencies and Profile
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Accountancy/Banking or any related course
At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Knowledge in Microsoft Office, Good in oral and written communication, Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented
Knowledgeable in payroll and benefits computation
With knowldege in basic computer software application including word and excel
Can able to work with deadlines and can able to perform arithmetic calculations accurately and rapidly.
