We have an opportunity for an experienced and meticulous Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic Payroll team.
In this role, you will review incoming payrolls to ensure accuracy of funding requests, manage the scheduling of signatories and coordinate the choice of superannuation fund administration. You will also support the onboarding and training of new signatories and preparation of relocation payments.
Holding a tertiary qualification in human resources, accounting or business, you may have payroll experience or have worked in a processing role like Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable. You will be decidedly numerate with a high level of attention to detail coupled with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. A confident communicator, you'll be comfortable managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines and will be process driven. Previous experience working in payroll, finance or HR would be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Manage International and Australian payroll funding and co-ordination with offshore teams
Superannuation administration and point of contact for employees, payroll vendor and default superannuation fund provider
Preparation and submission of monthly payroll tax returns
FBT reporting analysis
Payroll reconciliations
Preparation of ad-hoc payments
Key Skill Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of finance or payroll experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks to strict deadlines
Strong communication skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to adapt quickly and develop new knowledge
Operational excellence mindset
Proven record of excellent customer service
Advanced knowledge of excel
Collaborative, team-based work style
