Payroll Process Team Lead (North America)

To lead and supervise the assigned Payroll Processing functions and services.
• Ensures execution of all activities related to in-scope processes
• Ensures that Service Level Agreements are met. Formulates and ensures implementation of agreed action plans
• Participates in regular operations reviews with the market
• Acts as the subject-matter expert, ensuring acquisition & cascade of market-specific information to the operations
• Investigates & resolves process anomalies/ambiguities and escalates to Payroll Operations Manager or Market SME as necessary
• Validates and approves payroll checklists to confirm timely execution of the correct steps by the payroll processing team
• Leads the team in establishing and accomplishing objectives as aligned with the workstream priorities
• Evaluates team performance and conducts regular coaching and appraisals. Create and execute developmental plans for the team members
• Ensures team productivity through effective work distribution and assignments
• Monitors controls and compliance
• Ensures implementation of Best Practices
