Nuix is currently seeking a talented Payroll Office based in the Philippines. This is a permanent work from home opportunity.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to these
Responsible in processing monthly end-to-end payroll for employees and contractors located in Australia and Asia Pacific.
Managing the payroll mailbox and responding to internal and external payroll queries timely and accurately.
Employee record maintenance and managing leave entitlements and payments.
Create payment instructions on banking portals.
Certain region payroll processing may involve consolidating payroll instructions to external payroll vendors.
Calculate, and process a wide variety of payroll transactions including, but are not limited to; bonuses, commissions, gross to net termination pay, spot-bonus, PAYG/PAYE/withholding tax, mandatory employer & employee contributions, statutory payroll lodgments, including PAYG and Single Touch Payroll.
Coordinate with the HR department, Finance and Payroll Team to ensure correct employee data and ensuring payroll systems and spreadsheets accurately reflect those.
Always keep up to date with payroll systems and legislation updates to ensure audit-readiness.
Maintain accuracy of internal team trackers and templates.
Provide back-up support for the EMEA region payroll processing.
Reconciling and balancing payroll accounts at end of month and end of year.
Process Month End tasks related to Australian payroll, including preparation of monthly employee' costs and variance analysis report.
Payroll Tax preparation and lodgement.
Completing legislative requirements, including PAYG, Superannuation, Workers Compensation and Paid Parental leave payments.
Support annual and year end processes by completing the STP reconciliation and review.
Provide information to Vendors, Insurance and Auditors, when required.
Assisting Senior Payroll APAC & EMEA Team Leader and Payroll Manager for payroll processing, especially with SOP, ad hoc reports and audit requirements.
Timely completion of required employee' online courses and virtual learning sessions in Nuix Academy.
May be required to provide administrative assistance to the Payroll, Finance and HR department.
Job Qualifications
Minimum of two years' experience in processing end-to-end Australian payroll with good knowledge in payroll tax computation & legislation requirements.
Experience in Singapore, Japan and other EMEA payrolls is also highly preferable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good experience in payroll software programs (Netsuite, ADP, Celergo).
Experience in process documentation/desk procedures/SOP is highly desirable.
Skills and characteristics:

Excellent attention to details and ability to deliver high-quality output
Strong time management skills with the ability to manage priorities efficiently and multitask, if necessary
