To assist the Director, Sr. Manager or manager in respective Human Resources sub-function such as Payroll and Timekeeping and Labor. Train and develop, coach Sr. HR Specialists through regular interaction in order to achieve individual and group targets.
Major Responsibilities:
Supervises a team in the assigned sub-function, including but not limited to:
Payroll and Timekeeping: Supervises a sub-functional team in accurately process, auditing via SalesForce administering timekeeping data and payroll
Performance analysis and reporting. Ensures individual and team productivity targets are achieved by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly performance, as well as identifying interventions needed; Provides monthly team performance targets to Sr. Manager or Manager, Senior Management team and other lines of business for critical business and site decisions; Ensures accuracy in team reporting and reports discrepancies.
Stakeholder management. Consults with: (a) lines of business to ensure functional services are aligned with requirements and corporate policies, (b) US counterparts to ensure outcomes and implementations are aligned with intended plans and design, and (c) third-party entities such vendors, government, etc., if applicable
Process improvement. Conducts scheduled and random audits to ensure compliance with all applicable corporate and legal laws and regulations; Regularly communicates organizational and process updates to direct reports
People development. Engages team in regular coaching and feedback to improve performance and develop competencies; Conducts mid-year and annual performance appraisal
May be assigned/rotated across sub-functions, including but not limited to sub-functions within HR
Other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Qualifications:
College graduate preferably in Psychology, Business Administration, other related course
At least 5 years working experience in Philippine Payroll in a BPO setting, preferably in a Captive environment. At least 3 years experience as a people manager.
Understanding of payroll legislation and processes (i.e tax, annualization, general ledger); Demonstrated ability in payroll processing, numerical ability and data entry skills; Demonstrated ability in automated timekeeping processing, extensive knowledge and use of computer and spreadsheet program, numerical ability and data entry skills
Knowledgeable with payroll systems used in big companies. Knowledge in Workday and ADP is a plus
