Department Manager for Payroll maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
Ensures accuracy of updates on payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in deductions, allowances, salary changes, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
Complies with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
Reviews and approves financial vouchers and other financial transactions in accordance with policies and procedures
Payroll validation, reconciliation and analysis
Preparation and analysis of various Payroll Reports
Processes vendor management related payments
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains payroll staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains payroll staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Performs other related tasks requested by the Immediate Superior
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Post Graduate Diploma / Master's Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Payroll
Willing to work in Quezon City and Bonifacio Global City sites
