Position Summary
The Payroll Data & Tax Analyst role is critical to servicing key customers and supporting the day-to-day operations of both the payroll and time functions. Located in J&J's Global hub in Manila, the Payroll & Time Data Analyst is accountable for various payroll and time services and process including Payroll Data Management, Time Data management and Employee inquiries for EMEA Regional markets. As a Payroll & Time Data Analyst you will have responsibility for Payroll and Time data accuracy and completeness, such as Workday demographic data, Aon (Benefits), etc. for data input and error resolution. You will conduct data management and quality activities such as administration of mass loads, source to target and other data audits / reconciliations. On a recurring or adhoc basis, you are responsible for administering Payroll and Time & Attendance Reports, including evaluation of existing / available reports and dashboards, determination of appropriate reporting tool. The Payroll & Time Data Analyst supports audit requests and ongoing operational Key Performance Indicators / dashboard development for the Payroll and Time & Attendance function. In addition, you will provide advanced employee inquiry support for any escalated inquiries.
The Payroll & Time Data Analyst reports to the Global Payroll / Time Manager and does nt have any direct reports. As part of your day-to-day role, you will interact with both internal and external customers ranging from employees, managers, internal partners to external third-party vendors. In addition, the Payroll & Time Analyst will also interact with key internal functional partners such as Human Resources and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Data Management
Monitoring the accuracy and completeness of the master data and compensation elements coming from Workday integration.
Perform Source to Target compliance control for all inbound data integrations
Data entry and data corrections into the Payroll System via mass upload tools and data entry screens
Data entry and processing of any earnings/deductions/equity/Talent Mobility pay elements that are requested by an approved source
Processing an approved advanced payment to an Employee
Support new hire/org changes/termination end to end processes
Time Administration
Support demographic data import and hires/transfers/terminations/talent mobility processes
Support Work Schedules, Delegations, workflows in T&A systems
Manage and monitor Time Data collection, approval, exception handling
Support Time off requests, documentations, quota accruals, adjustments, payouts
Time cycle preparation and close, including transmission of Labor file to Payroll
Support ad-hoc labor reporting and escalated employee inquiries
Inquiry Support
Advanced research into employee inquiries and Resolution
Coordination with Payroll vendor for issues resolution and root cause analysis/research into employee inquiries
Interaction with the employees and managers in the course of issue resolution
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors' degree or Equivalent
Skills (min 3 yrs)
Strong data analytics and customer experience skills; ability to work with a multitude of people across global footprint
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to leverage resources to address customer issues and questions
Toolset (Preferred by not required)
Payroll process knowledge and experience in payroll operations
Knowledge and/or Experience with the ADP Celergo, ADP GV, eTime, Kronos T&A application, Workday Human Resource (HR) System
Knowledge and/or Experience with the Salesforce Case Management Tool
Knowledge and/or Experience with Knowledge Management artifacts such as Desktop Procedures (DTPs)
