Our Finance team is looking for a Payroll Coordinator based in our Makati office. This is a 12-month contract. You will hit the ground running, with the opportunity to utilise your previous payroll experience to provide high quality and efficient payroll support as part of a large-scale organisation!
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation, investigation and management of ad hoc payroll reconciliations and monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliations
Review employee timesheets on a weekly basis
Process new hires, terminations, status changes, and leaves
Calculate overtime and statutory holiday pay
Proactively respond to various employee queries as you provide timely solutions with a high level of customer service
Providing payroll support to resolve and document business requirements for system and process improvements
Maintain compliance with all GHD finance policies and procedures
What you will bring to the team:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related field
At least 3+ years in a similar position gained within a fast-paced payroll processing environment
Intermediate computer skills (especially Excel) and previous experience in the use of payroll systems (ADP Global view) would be preferred
High degree of detail and accuracy in all areas of work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with a professional approach and attitude
Able to take initiative and maintain confidentiality
Strong time management skills and a proactive approach to delivering against set deadlines
Knowledge of Employment Standards (DOLE, SSS, PAG-IBIG and PHILHEALTH) and general HR policies
