Overview of the job
The Payroll and Benefits Project Manager is responsible in the successful delivery of Payroll and Benefits Projects and Changes. This includes involvement in project assessments, project planning, solution and process design, and project billing.
In general, the goal is to be a key owner who drives the quality implementation of Projects that may be internal, legal or statutory, locally requested, or globally-led in nature for markets assigned. This role is open for MEA shift (1-10 PM Manila time).
Your team
This role reports to Payroll and Benefits Project Management Organization (PMO_ and Business Support Specialist (BSS) Senior Manager & works closely with IT, Payroll and Benefits Operations, Tax, Controls and Compliance Managers, HR Contacts and PMO counterparts in other regions. The team is composed of diverse individuals with a mix of Associates and Managers, with both experienced professionals and in-house talents.
What success looks like
Implement requests with quality (zero to minimal impact to Operations and Business)
Lead and initiate projects and improvements independently
Support Payroll Operations and other business partners through process changes
Drive "speed-to-value" (fast project turnaround) efforts of the organization
Seek opportunities to step-up PMO processes
Responsibilities of the role
Project Assessment and Delivery primarily for UK, IE, and CH markets (but may not be limited to these)
Bridges gap of come-from state to future-state requested
Provides key inputs to solutions and design
Risk and Mitigation Assessment
Ensures compliance to local, legal, internal standards for all projects handled
Integrates improvements in processes or markets owned
Leads discussions with Requesters and HR IT support groups
Provides holistic communication and support for projects owned
Qualifications
Project Management experience is a must
Payroll and Benefits Operations knowledge is a must
Knowledge in SAP HR is an advantage
Knowledge in UK, IE, Swiss Payroll is an advantage
Strategic Thinking and Planning Skills
MS Excel, Word, and Powerpoint skills
Communication and Presentation Skills
