Basic Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Payroll Coordinator and Compensation Benefits role
• Proficient with MS office, especially strong in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP's & pivot tables)
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Able to perform error-free work in fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Highly organized team player
• Works with minimal supervision
• BPO Industry
• Salesforce
• Prior conversion experience (system conversion of one payroll/accounting system to another)
• QuickBooks, Payroll Hero, CPI Outsourcing, Bamboo HR, SAP, MyPrime, PayDay or other HRIS/Timekeeping System
Project Overview:
• Location: Baguio City Office - NOTE during COVID restrictions work location and hours may vary
• Start Date: ASAP
• Project duration: Regular position
• Production Hours: Monday-Friday, business hours in Pacific/AZ time zone
• Timekeeping
• Maintain and Organize Timekeeping System
• Ensure timely crediting of Payroll
• Compile and record employee time and payroll data
• Organize and check accuracy of Timekeeping for alignment with payroll calculations
• Send reminders to Operations and Support Units on individual timesheets
Benefits Administration
• Real-time updates, ensuring integrity on following company policies, procedures and protocol for salary, compensation and Benefits administration
• Monitoring of correct Employee submissions, required to avail of government mandated benefits
• Submission of government reportorial requirements pertaining to Human Resources and Employee Benefits, such as 13th Mth Pay, PEZA Employee Roster
Payroll Processing
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR and payroll data
• Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
• Monitoring of leave balances and time off used
• Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job titles, and department/ division transfers
• Answer employees' payroll related inquiries
• Submitting Payroll Instructions to 3rd party payroll vendor
• Export the payroll general ledger for import into the accounting system
Compliance and Reporting
• Assist in government payroll audits
• Knowledge on Labor Laws, Statutory Requirements, and local legislations
• Be up to date on holidays (Regular, Special Non-working, and Provincial) and their effect on wage computations
• On time payment of Government Mandated Benefits
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Any other tasks as assigned by the management
