The Payroll Analyst is responsible for overseeing payroll procedures including handling all aspects of the payroll calculations using the company's payroll software product, reviews payroll data and documents of our clients for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payroll reports are submitted on time. Responsibilities also include maintaining an efficient payroll system that ensures compliance with all compensations and tax regulations of the country.
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Responsible for performing all analytical payroll functions, account management,
facilitating various payroll wage verification, process documentation and coordinates
with key team members to achieve on-time payroll and statutory reporting for end-to-end accounts/clients.
● Monitors and ensures that payroll and timekeeping policies of the clients/accounts are properly adhered to. Analyzes payroll information from the client prior to entering into the payroll system. Supervises the Payroll Assistant in ensuring that payroll records are updated and accurate and inputs any changes in the payroll system.
● Generates and reviews payroll registers and coordinates with clients any required
adjustment and corrections. Analyzes and resolves payroll discrepancies reported by the client company and closely coordinates with the client company to ensure that all payroll transactions are authorized via company payroll policies & procedures as well as compliant with DOLE.
● Tasks to investigate all payroll concerns, posting journal entries, completing monthly audits of the payroll system and other miscellaneous payroll-related duties.
● Manages the delivery of key payroll projects in collaboration with key team members about payroll issues and develops recommendations based from research on complex payroll issues for proper treatment to avoid clients' employee disputes.
● Handles and addresses payroll related queries of employees raised thru the client
company's payroll team while maintaining confidentiality of all information.
● Monitors and analyses payroll processes to develop/recommend more efficient
procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and timely submission of pay
registers to client companies to ensure on time pay-out to its employees.
● Any other payroll related functions and ad hoc reporting that may be assigned from time to time.
