About The Role
Role Location: 12f Solaris One Building Dela Rosa St. Makati City
Role Type: 18-months Fixed Term Contract
Shift Schedule: Day shift
This role will be responsible for supporting the Payroll Processing team (based in Manila) with sound knowledge through processing multi-geography onboarding and payroll inputs.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
end-to-end processing of all non-Peoplesoft onboarding activities
payroll inputs such as:
allowances, deductions, overtime, pensions, tax code changes, etc, pre and post payroll finalisation checks
coordination of sign-off
administer country-specific benefits
processing all types of leave requests and amendments and process terminations
In addition, this role will be accountable for ensuring the Payroll Processing team maintains and updates employee tax records as required
As an Analyst, this role will be pivotal in ensuring data integrity enhances the database to become and remain the single source of truth, with specific emphasis on globally accurate employee tax records. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for assisting the team members (i.e. TL and SME) conduct investigations (such as RCA, etc) into escalations and queries (including Tier 2 queries), overpayments, escalations, queries, customer complaints across all geographies.
The role will partner with various teams, specifically Payroll Services (Manila), Talent & Culture (T&C) Operations & Payroll Services (Bengaluru), T&C colleagues and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement ideas and change initiatives that result in reduced customer effort.
About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Previous experience in the banking and/or customer service industry and always puts customer first
Knowledge in payroll and Peoplesoft / service desk desired
Has a process mindset with a good understanding of operations disciplines
Proven analytical, influencing and problem solving skills combined with the ability to identify risks and impacts as well as possible solutions and corrective actions
Strong understanding of the need to mitigate business operational risks in line with established risk management and compliance frameworks
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, all levels of employees and management
