JOB SUMMARY
The Payroll Administrator and Benefits Supervisor will have key responsibilities on the following areas: Compensation, Welfare and Benefits; Time keeping and Payroll Administration. S/he will ensure proper administration on these areas and ensure employee satisfaction.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Compensation, Welfare and Benefits
· Takes charge of the whole spectrum of employee compensation, welfare and benefits administration from government mandated to company-sponsored benefits, including developing and implementing health and wellness-related programs.
· Helps the Corporate Services Director in reviewing the compensation philosophy, conducting job evaluation and salary structuring.
· Make sure the company's compliance with all laws & regulations related to Occupational Safety and Health Regulations and other government-mandated requirements.
· Prepares yearly payroll budget and monitors departmental expenses within the approved budget
· Facilitates Yearly Compensation Studies/Reviews including benefits to ensure company's competitiveness with the external market
Time keeping and Payroll Administration
· Responsible in the administration of timekeeping, ensuring the accuracy of payroll calculations and timely receipt of employee's compensation.
Responsible in the preparation of employees back pay, adjustments of discrepancies/ unpaid salaries, retro payments, salary adjustments, and preparation of Alpha list
Employee Relations
· Assist the Corporate Services Director in promoting corporate workplace culture compliant to the company's Code of Conduct and Policies, including preparation and issuance of disciplinary action memo
