Working within the finance team you will be a self-starting, highly organised, and experienced Payroll/Accounting Assistant.
Responsibilities:
Payroll admin and processing through Xero
Process accounts payable in a timely manner
Daily 9 CFs review and submit
Organise (via AP) Super payments & other related payments (eg Child support, etc...)
Submit SG report to clearing house and do BS reconciliation of super clearing account
Balance sheet reconciliation of payroll accounts (child suppportsupport, clearing accounts, etc...)
Process new employee forms and maintain existing employees' master file in Xero
Payroll run
SubmittSubmit payroll register reports for approval
Generate ABA file
Upload ABA into NAB
Review Accounts Payable balance sheet reconciliation
Review Accounts Receivable balance sheet reconciliation
Prepare a commitments report for accruals
Release monthly standing journals (if any)
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare BAS lodgement
Prepare IAS lodgement
Organise (via AP) BAS & IAS payments
Prior month close (lock Zero period, check ME reports produced and filed. Etc....)
Asset register maintenance
Review GL entries (re: job costed entries)
Maintain category codes and job codes in Xero
Prepare ad-hoc reports specific to function responsibilities
Events sales processing
Requirements
Degree qualified (+)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient skill in using Xero (or similar) is required
With BAS and IAS lodgment experience
Experience as a Payroll or Accounting Assistant with an Australian client is desired
Experience in various software (not necessary, but desirable) including;
Keap, Hubspot, CRM
MS Office
Employment Hero payroll
Proactive, results-driven, efficient, highly organised, process-oriented and organiser of all things
Benefits
Monthly Salary: Php 45,000
Salary will be paid on a bi-monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month
You will be paid extra for overtime and Philippines public holidays
Probation: 6 months and after Probation
10 days annual leave credits
5 days of sick leave
Eligible for 13th Month Pay after 30 days
Annual Appraisal
Laptop provided after 30 days
Permanent work-from-home role. You will have to use your own internet.
