Our partner is looking for a Payments & Fraud Analyst to support their operations from South-East Asia, ideally in Manila, Philippines. Reporting to the Senior Payment Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in reviewing gaming activity based on established trigger points. You will take initiative whenever you find it necessary to take action while keeping in mind what needs to be done first. You will be processing and analyzing crypto payments and communicating your decisions with our Customer Experience team whenever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze payment transactions to identify suspicious activity or potential fraud.
Implement real-time fraud detection tools and systems to identify proactively and mitigate risks.
Fraud Prevention and Investigation:
Conduct in-depth investigations into suspicious transactions, accounts, or patterns.
Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement fraud prevention strategies and measures.
Payment Processing:
Handle payment processing operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of deposits and withdrawals.
Work closely with payment service providers to optimize processes and resolve any payment-related issues.
Reporting and Documentation:
Generate regular reports on payment trends, fraud incidents, and mitigation efforts.
Maintain detailed records of investigations, findings, and actions taken.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct risk assessments related to payment processing and fraud prevention, and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate identified risks.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address payment-related issues and ensure a seamless user experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role (payment processing and fraud prevention within the online gambling)
Good understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency transactions.
Analytical mindset, attentive to detail with exceptional problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using fraud detection tools and software such as SEON or TruValidate
Experience with excel especially using pivot tables and Vlookups
Excellent communication, especially sharing findings and effectively communicating them
Previous experience with Chainalysis or similar tools will be considered as an advantage.
