kEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a CBRE AP Accountant, you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable process. This includes vendor invoices, employee expense reports, payment processing, and cash advances.
This job manages accounts payable including the review and payment of both domestic and foreign supplier invoices on the scheduled payment date and banking and cash management functions including the reconciliation and review of bank accounts. The AP Accountant works very closely with the other members of the P2P team.
Responsibilities:
Operational Efficiency - Purchase to Pay (P2P)
Drive P2P requirements and produce the following:
Timely processing of payment runs based on agreed payment run schedules
Ensure proper filing of ORs, local invoices and BIR form 2307s before end of succeeding quarter
Ensure proper review and timely liquidations of employee cash advances (not more than 90 days)
Clear out long-outstanding AP and AP clearing items by end of year
Identify areas for improvement
Process supplier invoices accurately and timely
· Secures appropriate approval for invoices received and code it to correct account in Coupa
Ability to respond to queries related to supplier invoices timely and accurately
Updates individual/assigned metrics regularly
Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Financial Reliability (Accuracy, Timeliness & Internal Consistency)
Drive Statutory Reporting Requirements (ADV financials)
Assist in filing audited financials by April 15 (statutory deadline)
Ensure submission of monthly/quarterly/annual PWC tax requirement by WD+5
Ensure accurate filing and posting of taxes in the GL (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Plan and prepare ahead for possible tax audit
