Job Responsibilities:
Entering patients files on to Dentrix (Dental Program)
Ensuring the phones are answered promptly and in the correct manner.
Discussing/Making/Scheduling/Confirming appointments with the Medical and Financial Power of Attorney.
Managing logistics when arranging appointments e.g. grouping appointments based on location and practitioner.
Responding to email queries from families and nurses.
Liaising with General Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Clinical Managers to arrange appointments.
Sending patients appointment confirmations.
Sending dental reports to patients or their power of attorney.
Calling Medicare and Department of Veterans' Affairs
Make any necessary claims for CDBS/DVA.
Taking payments for outstanding accounts.
Mailing hard copy invoices and receipts.
Requirements
2+ years experience as a coordinator
Excellent verbal and written communication
Good people skills
Friendly
Quick learner
Attention to detail
Excellent computer skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive and flexible attitude
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a large multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision
Highly organised and methodical
Able to multitask and be skilled in taking direction
Working with Children Check & Police Check required for industry work placement
Due to us being in the Health Sector you must be fully COVID vaccinated with a Current Flu Certificate.
