The ideal Patient Advocate is someone who strives to be empathetic and passionate in their work with patients while accomplishing their objectives for the success of the business. The Patient Advocate is responsible in providing excellent customer service by successfully scheduling the patient's initial evaluation by conducting phone calls to different stakeholders such as the patient, physical therapy providers, MD office, adjusters, case managers and the like with appropriate documentation for each case. The role also entails lending support, guidance and positivity toward all patients and clients alike while using the collaborative power of teamwork to achieve common goals and maintain desired results. The ideal Patient Advocate is someone who strives to be empathetic and passionate in their work with patients while accomplishing their objectives for the success of the business. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Make outbound calls to schedule patients in a timely manner to ensure that internal and external metrics are met Ensure you have all the necessary information (address, phone number, etc.) needed to schedule the appointment. If missing information, you will follow a designated workflow to attempt to locate the information Schedule an appointment with a Physical Therapy provider and keep the patient posted on the status Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor Provide the best customer service to all callers Work on cases that requires investigation for missing information that is necessary to schedule patients for their initial evaluations Comply with HIPAA and URAC guidelines QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a college degree in any field (Nursing/PT/OT degree is a plus but not required) Must have experience in BPO industry Possess impeccable customer service skills with 1-2 years of experience Experience with outbound calls preferred Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Detail orientated and strong data entry skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and general computer literacy, working with dual screens Time management and strong organizational skills required Willing to work any assigned shift during a work week in Mandaluyong City BENEFITS Salary package up to Php 35,000/month (depending on work experience) HMO Coverage up to Php 200,000 maximum benefit limit Excellent work culture Huge opportunity for growth with a leading US provider of Managed Physical Medicine with a growing presence in the Philippines Preferably residing within Metro Manila only.
