We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to perform effective risk management and work on the organization's financial strategy. It is a very important and complex role since an organization can only survive if it actively investigates and safeguards its finances.
A Finance Manager must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command. The goal is to protect the company's revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.
The Finance Manager of a company has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations. The CFO job description should also extend to obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.
There will be an initial requirement of 10 hours per week then down to 5 hours for the succeeding weeks.
Responsibilities
As part of an executive management team, the Finance Manager will have interaction with various members of a company, both senior and junior. A Finance Manager's description include:
Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team
Providing strategic recommendations to the Owners, General Manager and members of the executive management team
Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting
Advising on short-term and long-term business and financial planning
Establishing and developing relations with senior management and current accounting personnel.
Reviewing all formal finance procedures.
Recommending on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
Weekly evaluation of the Company's financial data.
Requirements
Should have minimum experience as Finance Manager, Finance Officer, or similar role
Should have minimum of 5 years audit experience
Should have experience working in a family-owned business
Should have experience working in a BPO environment
In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Proficient in the use of accounting software
Ability to strategize and solve problems
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and people skills
An analytical mind
A CPA or CMA
BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
