Our client is an AU company that provides accounting, taxation, advisory and audit services primarily to the members of the construction industry.
The role would start part time, but theres a possibility to become full time
Job Role
Assistance with:
Legal Trust External Examinations
Not-for-Profit Audits
Audit of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds
Accounting Trust Account Audits.
Grant Audits
Requirements
3 to 6 years of Accounting experience
Knowledge of Xero Platform
Knowledge of BAS, PAYG,
Basic knowledge of Australian business - required
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required
Additional distinctions or certifications may be preferred or required
Working knowledge of GAAP
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
In-depth industry knowledge regarding best practices, policies, current regulations, and technology
Exceptional research, planning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and math skills
Excellent presentation, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping or financial software and MS Office
High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
Work From Home Requirements
At least 10mbps internet connection
Back up internet connection, postpaid or prepaid
Laptop or Desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher)
Backup laptop or desktop (at least core i5 or higher)
