OXYGEN PLANT OPERATOR
 
Job Summary: The Technical Operator is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the oxygen generation plant. Key duties include overseeing the oxygen generation process, troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, conducting routine maintenance, and keeping accurate records of plant operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Operate oxygen generation systems, demonstrating the process while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Identify and understand plant components, including compressors, filters, valves, and other critical equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, coordinating repairs when necessary.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal plant efficiency and maintain detailed operational logs.
Comply with safety standards, ensure regulatory adherence, and actively participate in safety training programs.
Respond promptly to system alarms, breakdowns, or emergency situations to minimize downtime.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the plant area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
Qualifications:
Technical diploma or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
Experience in operating and maintaining industrial equipment is an advantage but not required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment: Industrial setting with potential shift work to support 24/7 operations.
