Responsible for generating data-driven insights and reports that guide decision-making to maximize commercial impact and spend efficiency
Capable of independently pulling and piecing together data from various data sources to deepen understanding of our business landscape
Collaborate with our marketing and business partners to execute data-guided strategies and for data support and needs
Manages data resources and automation bandwidth within Marketing
Builds, modifies and designs dashboards with the end-user in mind for seamless data access using various platforms and in-house tools
Participate in high-level discussions where you will be exposed to critical thinking among Shopee's marketing leadership
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communication Research or similar field
Minors in Data Science, Analytics or similar is a plus
2-3 years work experience in marketing insights or analytics, consulting, e-commerce or tech industries
Preferably with knowledge of SQL or similar data pulling languages
Intermediate MS Excel and Google Sheet skills, capable of utilizing different formulas and features to drive desired result
Strong data storytelling and visualization skills that exhibits comprehensive understanding of business objectives, utilization of data viz tools (Tableau, Looker Studio, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus
Strong sense of ownership over their work and long-term goals a self-starter
Highly curious with a desire to understand business problems and strategies
A critical and structured thinker, capable of breaking down problems systematically into their parts
Thorough and detail-oriented, has personal systems for checking accuracy
Enjoys learning in a fast-paced, collaborative and engaging environment
Develops strong relationships with their stakeholders built on trust
