This is a remote position.
My Virtual Mate is a registered Australian company that helps businesses with business process outsourcing. Our mission is to make a positive change in our partners' business, which ultimately helps them gain more profits, and grow their business with truly talented staff.
Our client is a US based business solutions company that uses a team based model to consult with businesses. They are looking for an Outside Sales Agent to sell products and services offered by the company to current and new clientele.
The role will start part-time, and will scale up into a full-time opportunity as the business grows. The ideal hire is someone who can work Pacific time.
Tasks:
Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
Filter leads to ensure only good quality leads come through
Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR
At least five years of related experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, listening skills, presentation skills, and customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills especially include identifying and discussing areas known and understood and those that are not.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Work From Home Requirements:
At least 10mbps internet connection
Back up internet connection, postpaid or prepaid
Laptop or Desktop with updated operating systems (at least core i5 or higher)
Backup laptop or desktop (at least core i5 or higher)
Headset with mic
No background noise during work hours
Must not be currently employed full time
