Job Description:
Job Summary:
The Outage Planning Engineer is responsible for planning and preparing the scheduled outages of the power plant by facilitating the scope reviews, spares, and consumables requirements, scheduling of activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing the resources.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate with O&M, engineering, and asset management team on the outage scopes to be done during the scheduled outages.
Compile all recommendations and lessons learned of the previous planned outages in a single monitoring file.
Create and facilitate the completion of outage final reports.
Facilitate the resource requirements of each outage activity.
Schedule and coordinate all outage activities in a master schedule file for coordination and general view of the overall duration and progress of the shutdown work.
Collect data on preventive/corrective maintenance activities to monitor compliance to maintenance procedures as well as to provide a proactive approach in repairs and maintenance.
Assist in the creation of the maintenance long-term plans such as a 10-year outage plan.
Ensure that outage planning and execution will be in accordance with the established outage process and procedures.
Comply with the requirements of the outage readiness indicator and the outage execution indicator gate reviews.
Prepare the outage budget for approval based on the identified scope and monitors it during the execution phase.
Comply with occupational safety and health as well as environmental rules and regulations to prevent accidents, illness, and adverse effects on the environment.
Comply with housekeeping policies within his/her area of responsibility during assigned shift to maintain standards of cleanliness and orderliness of plant equipment and premises.
Conform to the company's Quality, Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Asset Management, Energy Management, Business Continuity Management System and Information Security Management Systems policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines based on ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 55001, ISO 50001, and ISO 22301 Standards.
Report Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety events/incidents or potential events, or other security risks to the organization/ committees-in-charge.
Protect information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference in accordance with ISMS policies
Perform other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the TL.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in any Engineering fields
Registered Engineer
At least four (4) years in power plant maintenance
At least one (1) year relevant project experience
Knowledge in power plant operations and maintenance
Attention to details
Analytical skills
Communication skills
MS Project or any project management system
