Job Description
Overall Objective
Supervise the company's 3rd Party Logistics partners on day-to-day transactions and provide supply chain execution & logistics support, to maximize the effectiveness of daily operations & organizational efficiency by streamlining the procedures, and ensure overall compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Management Local Inbound Process
Supervise 3rd Party D&L operations and measure key performance indicators (KPI) and service level agreements (SLA) at regular intervals and discussed with partners.
Prepare all documentation under OPI for international trade as authorized by the Country SCM Lead.
Prepare and update the local D&L SOPs & contracts.
Provide D&L support to DOH tender requirements coordinated by Market Access Team & the local distributor
Optimize cost to serve (costs, RDD, quality) and ensure efficient management of logistics-related activities
2. Inventory Management
Perform monthly reconciliation of inventories between COMET & distributor's SAP system
Invoice all 3rd Party Partner transactions (sales & returns) promptly in the appropriate period for proper revenue recognition.
Perform regular periodic inspection of trade returns/damaged/expired stocks and arrange destruction activities with the distributor and representative from the Bureau of Internal Revenue to minimize warehouse storage charges
Perform month-end closing requirements related to inventory movements and stock balances
Monitor cycle counting activities of inventories stored at distributor warehouses and witness selected cycle counts with internal company team to ensure good inventory management
3. Compliance
Monitor Duty & Tax payments related to international supplies and trade
Ensure Trade Compliance activities are conducted in accordance to Market and Company Compliance guidelines
Support 3rd party service providers in establishing SOP of brokerage and customs clearance services to ensure product handling of import/export are in compliance with international trade regulations
Supervise and monitor the implementation of SOPs by 3rd Party service providers in meeting with company standards as well as local Regulations.
4. Customs Clearance Management
Supervise the importation process performed by the customs broker to ensure trade compliance
Prepare and update SOP & contract with customs broker.
Validate that shipment declarations prepared by the contracted customs broker are accurate in accordance with the ruling guidelines of Bureau of Customs and that the company pays the correct duties & taxes at all times
Ensure that shipment valuation and HS codes used for shipments are in accordance with Global Trade Compliance rulings
5. Project Management
Provide support to SCM Lead in regional initiatives focused towards compliance to company standards
Orient local market colleagues in relation to local D&L requirements in support of market initiatives
6. Budget & Cost Control
Monitor monthly D&L spend under SCM to ensure adherence to Budget and provide explanation to over or under spending
Requirements:
Graduate of a 4-year Business Course, Major in Accounting
3 years experience in D&L, Importation & customs clearance processes;
SAP experience a must
Proficient in English
