The Role
As an Oracle Report Developer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and building business and statutory reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, ORACLE BIS and Financial Reporting Studio. Also, you will provide support to Project implementation requirements of Financial Control (FINCON) arising from new systems, automation and Bank's directions which include planning, executing, monitoring and closing the Project.
How you'll contribute
Assist in the performance of extensive User Acceptance Testing and correct / adjust any findings tagged as 'FAILED' during UAT of the Report
Work with PCMU and FINCON Business Heads to digitize data reporting and recommend opportunities for improvement and optimize Oracle Usability
Understand business requirements for internal and statutory reports and build requirement in Oracle within the required timeline
Assist the business in defining appropriate report requirements based on the data available in Oracle
Coordinate with business heads to ensure that requirements are clear and aligned before development
Create documentation of report configuration and obtain proper sign off
Lead UAT Activities of developed reports and ensure accuracy of data from the report and timely solutioning for issues encountered
Identify and streamline reporting by removing duplicate reports and simplifying report requirements
Contribute to the design and planning process for any data analytics systems
Coordinate with Business SMEs to ensure that the report format, layout and specifications are clear and met
Enhances, maintains or updates FINCON Reports as needed by the business within required time and with quality
Recommend report enhancements for efficiency
Maintain an archive of signed off reports and their related documentations
Elevates and addresses issues timely
Walkthrough all reports created including conducting trainings, as needed
Monitors/measures realization of the expected benefits of the related Project and Change management initiatives.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or any IT-related courses
Have at least 5 years' experience
Working knowledge in ORACLE BIS, Financial Reporting Studio, BI Publisher and SMARTVIEW and in writing SQL queries and able to write reports for Oracle Apps using Oracle OTBI.
Demonstrated proficiency in understanding of Oracle Financials - ERP and EPM Modules
Knowledge on MS Applications (i.e. Word Docs and Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
Effective communication and negotiation skills; Planning and organization skills; Interpersonal skills; Problem-solving skills and keen attention to details; Teamwork skills; Analytical and critical thinking; Good in time management.
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of organization and external parties, keen to details; able to work well with the team; able to do multi-tasking and able to handle pressure.
