This is a remote position.
The Oracle Architect is required to design and oversee the build of end to end Oracle stacks using Oracle technologies. The Oracle architect will be able to take existing system designs and pull together options for upgraded Oracle stacks. They should be able to take existing requirements and map them to current Oracle technologies
Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads
Understand and document technical requirements from clients
Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud
Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation
Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools
Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc
Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
Design the HA / DR strategy
Set up process, services and tools around cloud
Leverage appropriate AWS/Azure/OCI services
Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls
Application Architect to manage Delivery (Build and Steady State) along with Architecture workload
Leads market, consumer, competitive research and analysis on migration and modernization of Oracle ERP Financial application products
Interprets client needs and use case scenarios, translates needs into differentiating and innovative Oracle ERP Financial services offering architecture, provides a long-term and short-term roadmap in line with migration and modernization services to cloud
Discusses requirements with development, sales and delivery teams and updates requirements to reflect feedback in the roadma

Database 10g / 12C
Fusion Middleware 12c
Happy to learn and develop an understanding of Oracle Software at pace
Experience in leading Oracle systems delivery including analysis, design, implementation, testing and support
Previous experience of the migration and upgrade of integrated Oracle solutions to public cloud
Current knowledge of, and experience with, systems integration methods and technologies
Able to articulate technical concepts in a concise and easy-to-understand manner
Red Hat Linux Administration, use of the operating system to install binaries and more
Configuration experience in WebLogic (e.g. configuring for high availability or performance)
Oracle Application Server (IAS 10G)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in a computer related degree program or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 Years of relevant work experience
