Description:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Optometrist (Teleconsultant) to provide remote support to U.S.-based clinics through secure telehealth systems. The successful candidate will conduct precise refractions, assist patients with vision assessments, and record all results in EMR systems while ensuring the highest level of professionalism and patient care.Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive refractions using digital or manual phoropters.
Provide remote optometry support to U.S. clinics through secure telehealth systems.
Guide patients through vision assessments and accurately document results in EMR systems.
Communicate effectively and professionally with both patients and clinical teams.
Resolve minor technical issues to ensure uninterrupted telehealth operations.
Uphold patient confidentiality, maintain precise records, and demonstrate exceptional patient care at all times.
Requirements:
Must hold a Doctor of Optometry (OD) or an equivalent degree recognized in the Philippines.
At least 1 year of practical experience in clinical optometry or refraction.
Familiarity with digital or automated phoropters is an advantage.
Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
Amenable to working night shifts in alignment with U.S. time zones.
Open to completing HIPAA and telehealth compliance training requirements.
