As a Senior Operational Trainer, you will train talented individuals and exceptional professionals! This a great opportunity to effective the delivery of training programs across a Fortune 5 Organization. We're looking for individuals who keep abreast of various training delivery techniques, business processes, products and systems in specific areas of expertise. This will encompass training of one functional area such as Claims or Customer Service individuals in the Training Delivery Operational functions and could include some aspects of the design process and training material as needed. We are looking for someone who has extensive work experience in a highly matrix organization across multiple functions. When not in training you will assist the manager of the department with department activities and act as a resource to the team ??
Primary Responsibilities: ??
?? * Conduct appropriate preparation to ensure full understanding of training content and objectives prior to delivery (e.g., train-thetrainer, facilitator guide, real-world examples, rehearsal)
?? * Collaborate with appropriate resources (e.g., instructional designers, business partners, SMEs, business leadership) to facilitate development of appropriate learning objectives and curricula -Set appropriate expectations for all applicable stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, learners, Training) to ensure ongoing support and achievement of learning objectives -Identify, understand and prepare the appropriate training technology to ensure effective learning (e.g., Teams, Knowledge Management Systems, ULearn, Knowlagent)
?? * Identify and adopt the facilitation approach that best meets the learning styles and needs of the audience, and achieves established learning objectives (e.g., audience analysis, audience engagement)
?? * Ensure that the logistics of the learning environment are completed and in place (e.g., rosters, technology, room arrangements/configuration, learning materials)
?? * Conduct train-the-trainer activities to prepare others for effective facilitation, including providing context/direction (e.g., other trainers, vendors, colleagues, SMEs)
?? * Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications: ??
?? * At least 2 years in college
?? * 5+ years of experience conducting classroom training and/or seminar/workshop topics
?? * Demonstrate understanding of applicable systems, processes and operational changes to optimize facilitation, as needed
?? * Demonstrate awareness of applicable emergency procedures at the learning site (e.g., inclement weather protocols, medical emergencies, building evacuation procedures)
?? * Demonstrates effective interpersonal, influence, collaboration and listening skills and drives for results individually and in a team setting
?? * Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
