Ensures timely checking of shipping documents for import and export and confirms accuracy or detects errors to clients or agents on the assigned account.
Coordinates with the team as to truck booking, scheduling of BOC clearances,
Facilitates on time payment to shipping lines, airlines, carriers for freight forwarding charges.
Prepares necessary documents needed in the application of various tax and duty incentives pertaining to the assigned account or project and eventually, Liaises with customs brokers, BOC, DOF,BOI for updated reporting procedures and valuations.
Handles domestic sea and airfreight bookings with airline and shipping lines·
Liaises and coordinates with international and local a gents for freight forwarding services, in terms of shipment booking, shipping schedule and documentations.
Requirements
BSCA graduate or any Business related course with at least 1 year working experience in a freight forwarding company. Being Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage.
With good oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and be familiar with any other software pertinent to his/her industry.
Has an eye for details.
Has all the technical knowledge in documentation and actual applications
