Job Overview
We are looking for Operations Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure the effective execution of processes. The ideal candidate will lead a team, drive operational efficiency, and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities on the shift.
Implements work schedule and ensures that lines adhere to required production quality standards
Monitors work performance and behavior of Line Leaders and workers and ensure adherence to work standards and company rules
Lead, train, and mentor team members to achieve performance targets.
Ensures proper and immediate containment of defective product and abnormal line condition in the work area
Ensure efficient use of production resources and effective implementations of production systems, standards and policies
Work collaboratively with Engineers, Line Leaders and Technicians to address abnormal conditions/ problems
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of operations and prepare reports for management.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations or supervisory roles
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Knowledge on the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHS 18001
Proficient in MS Office Applications specifically Microsoft Excel and MS PowerPoint
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
