To improve the socio-economic situation at household level through sustainable agricultural production and/or income growth, and/or improved access to water.
Building capacity of local stakeholders by transferring sustainable solutions and advocacy
Representation and coordination with consortium partners

Key activities in your role will include
Objective 1: Project and Program follow-up
Ensure relevant information are updated and accurate in the organization's Project information database - GESPRA
Support Senior Management Team in ensuring the implementation of the projects are in line with the updated work plan, logical framework, the procurement/ supply plan and budget;
Document and follow-up key action points discussed and agreed during Project follow-up or Coordination Meetings.
During the Project follow-up or Coordination Meetings ensure that key issues with the implementation of grants are raised and discussed and that action points followed-up
Ensure follow-up and accuracy of SOVs archived in the mission's platform/ database
Objective 2: Ensure the timely reporting for grants and submission of proposals
Update and circulate a reporting and proposal calendar every month to detail the internal and external deadlines for all external financial and narrative reports.
Support the Operations Coordinator in the follow-up of the timely submission of proposals and reports Ensure correct preparation of reports to donors, internal reports and any other document for external actors (amendments to donors, letters, requests, contracts, etc.)
Ensure that narrative reports are reviewed and approved by key technical staff (and HQ if needed).
Objective 3: Ensure that programme documents are property archived
Work with M&E Coordinator and Ops Coordinator to review key project documents and SoVs with the Archivist, Heads of Project, Heads of Bases and Technical Coordinators following Programme Review Meetings to ensure that project documents and SoVs are reviewed at least once every quarter.
Ensure project/base closeout are done following AAH procedures and documents are filed
Objective 4: Perform a variety of administrative, secretarial, and operational tasks in support of the Mission's Operation.
Support drafting the memorandums/internal and external correspondence (letters and/or email communication) for various stakeholders as deemed necessary by the CD/OC
Participate in Mission regular/ad-hoc coordination meeting set by the SMT to provide inputs and also to record and provide minutes and action plan for follow up.
Follow up on MOA/MOU or partnership contract draft preparation, elaboration and finalization for the consortium project/partners/Local government units and consolidate for the mission MoU/MoA registration and soft/hard copies archive
When necessary, uses initiative to obtain clarification of instructions/emails from originating offices or appropriate focal points. Determines which are of importance or interest to the SMT and refers them accordingly.
Perform other tasks assigned/requested by the line manager in line with the Mission's priorities
Objective 5: Safety and security
Respect the Security rules of Action Against Hunger and coordinate with the Head of Project/Security officer for any security issues relating to work
Report any security or other incidents in the field that may interrupt project activities directly to Base Security Officer / Head of Project / Head of Base
Ensure the respect and compliance of the mission security rules by the team
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
Graduate of Bachelor of Arts: Communication, International or Development studies, Organizational development or communication, Operations Management, and other similar fields
Technical specific knowledge:
Experience in implementing supporting humanitarian and development projects.
Experience in working with different humanitarian and development donors and of different donor compliance.
Strong understanding of project cycle management.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years previous experience in the humanitarian/development field.
In inter-agency coordination, representation and negotiation with state and non-state actors.
In working with local authorities and partners.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Project Cycle Management.
In supporting project management in emergency context.
In packaging reports and proposals to donor and other external stakeholders
Language: Strong command of English ( speaking and writing) and Filipino
Good knowledge of Office package (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel)
