Job Description:
Contribute support and expertise in accounts receivable (A/R), collections, and account / client management.
Perform and analyze all accounts receivable duties, including proper application of cash, check, and wire transactions.
Manage accounts and assist on all queries, payment follow ups, issue resolution, and escalations
Collect payments for Marketing Packages within the agreed payment terms
Maintain and prepare monthly reports for accounts reconciliation and analyze variance according to Account Receivable and Revenue Recognition policies.
Prepare reconciliation of marketing assets executed in Shopee backend to payments received from brands
Develop processes and recommend continuous improvements
Assist in audits and due diligence exercises
Requirements:
Graduated with a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Candidates with Logistics experience and CPAs have an advantage
At least two years of experience in the related field
Must have a working knowledge in reconciliation processes in e-commerce or financial industry
Above average analytical skills, able to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop solutions and communicate across the organization in an effective manner
Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills
Willing to work in a start-up e-commerce firm
Willing to work at Ortigas
