What are we looking for:
Multiplymii is in search of an Operations Associate for our client who is the first technology-based scale operator of top eCommerce microbrands, based in Boston.
As an Operations Associate, you will contribute to the development of the world-class Upstream function that supports the organization's long-term objectives.
Reporting to the Upstream Supply Chain Manager in charge of Compliance and QA, this position is responsible for supporting the overall data gathering and analysis needs of the Upstream organization. This role will work closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the supply chain and cross-functionally with growth and compliance teams.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role, you will:
Support the Upstream Supply Chain Manager and Compliance team collect regulatory Contact suppliers to request documentation and drive to resolution.
Schedule bookings for audits as well as production inspections and testing, & work with internal stakeholder and third party solution providers to collaborate.
Summarize findings from factory audits and product inspection reports and enter data into key systems.
Support manufacturer email outreach, both scheduled and ad hoc.
Work with manufacturers to make sure they are adhering to internal process requirements.
Support team members in handling communications (production delays, shipment delays, documentation errors, etc) with manufacturers. Drive issues to resolution.
Review packaging of artwork files for adherence with compliance.
Will assist with entering POs with US team
Will report into US team
Hours: (Beijing hours, flexible, ideally 8am-4pm Beijing time) to align with suppliers working hours
About You:
We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated professional to join and help build our Upstream function. The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with ambiguity and starting from scratch (whether in an entrepreneurial environment or building new things within a larger organization). They will be motivated by an opportunity to break the mold and ride the edge between speed and scalability. They should possess following key attributes and skills:
Core qualifications:
1-3 years of experience (ideally aligned with the general business ops role for compensation)
Good project management skills. Able to prioritize multiple tasks and drive initiatives to completion in a timely manner.
Excel proficiency and willingness to handle data entry
Proactive communicator & has relationship building skills; ability to work directly with suppliers throughout Asia over email
Strong communication experience working with external and internal stakeholders simultaneously.
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
English proficiency required, Mandarin speaking preferred (not required)
