Responsible for conducting signature verification for CAIFs, client update forms, and other applicable forms
Views database for comparison such as but not limited to signature cards, client application forms, client IDs, etc.
Reports any potential forgery or discrepancy to the necessary department representative for proper action/ endorsement
Coordinates with designated accounts officer to request for additional documentation from clients prior to approving accounts with discrepancies on their signature
Provides assistance in the delivery of Operations function in terms of the back-office support for new accounts, current accounts and other stock/ account-related transactions
Primarily concerned with back office process of settlements and clearing of trades
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or any business-related course
At least 2 years work experience in banking, financial services and/or securities/ stock brokerage or any related work experience
Experience working for PDTC, clearinghouse, institutional brokers or investment banking is an advantage.
Should be a Team player, highly organized, detail orientated
Can handle multitasking and work with minimum supervision
Fast worker, a strong sense of teamwork and good problem-solving skills
Must have completed a seminar or course in Signature Verification and Forgery Detection
Must have experience handling signature verification in the previous job
