The Role
As an Operations and Special Project Officer, you are responsible for monitoring, communicating, and reporting outstanding issues raised by Internal Audit, BSP, External Auditors, and other Regulatory bodies.
How you'll contribute
Collaborate with concerned Audit Teams and Division Head for the disposition and validation of issues.
Collaborate with AGO for any reportorial requirements.
Identify processes wherein data analytics can be applied and coordinate the same with the concerned IS Audit team for development and implementation.
Conduct special reviews and investigations whenever necessary.
Ensure timely reporting or elevation of critical matters or concerns to Audit Management.
Monitor incidences and fraud cases both internal and external and implement necessary changes in audit procedures in coordination with the Division Heads.
Ensure that audit procedures are updated based new Regulatory requirements and best practices/standards.
Ensure that issues raised by Audit Quality Assurance Officer are timely addressed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time-to-time.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking
Must have at least 3 years experience in Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, Information Technology, Leasing/Financing Institutions
With extensive exposure in assigned responsibility
Preferably with people management exposure.
Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Good understanding of banking operations and governing laws and regulations on the areas being assigned.
