Market Job Description
Wholesale Operations within WFIP supports the Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) businesses across number of key operational activities covering the entire client life cycle. The function sits under the CB/CIB business vertical with in WFIP and undertakes variety of operation - Lending Operations, Trade Finance Operations, Treasury Management and Payment Solutions, International payments and Financial Crime Ops. The operations covers all stages of client lifecycle including onboarding and ongoing maintenance and involves deal closing, financial statement spread, cash management, account onboarding & management, customer service, collateral management, documents preparation & management and collections.​ These operations support all of Commercial Banking business i.e. Business Banking Group, Middle Market, Commercial Capital, Trade Finance, Treasury Management and Payments Solutions.
Internally known as Operations Analyst 2, this role is responsible for liaising customer inquiries related to their payments to their outstanding accounts and ensure closure and resolution; involves researching and investigation to resolve clients' inquiries and coordination with internal stakeholders and customers. Junior Analyst will perform simple to moderately complex transactions and escalate any issues or potential risk to senior team member or SME.
Responsibilities:
Serves as Operational Relationship Manager for clients within their portfolio
Review and correct any Accounts Receivable misapplications
Reviewing inbox and resolving Customer inquiries and fulfilling requests
General operations reporting on assigned portfolio
Processing of Transfer of contracts between entities
Processing various contract changes such as addresses lease copies, effective dates, etc.
Creates manual invoices for specific customers that require specialized information that cannot be provided through a system generated invoice.
Market Skills and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, a requirement.
More than 2 years relevant working experience in the field of Accounting / Finance preferably in General Accounting, Accounts Receivable accounting, Loan accounting, Bookkeeping.
1 to 2 years experience in banking industry - Wholesale, Commercial Banking or Corporate Investment Banking or Shared Service organization, a strong advantage
Business and accounting Skills (concept of Debit and Credit)
Knowledge on GAAP Accounting
Able to perform work and report on PH public holidays if falling on Mondays to Fridays including Christmas and New Year's eve
Amenable to work on US shift: 9PM to 6AM
