ZALORA Philippines is looking for a Manager for our Operational Excellence Team. The role will be based in Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway and will be reporting to the Associate Director for Operations.
Responsibilities:
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Organizes and leads continuous improvement initiatives, including development of efforts related to lean transformation
Facilitate and/or assist trainings related to operational excellence, including Lean Six Sigma methods and concepts
Identify and evaluate prospective process improvement projects aligned with key priorities of the organization.
Measure success of continuous improvement initiatives using valuation models and key performance indicator trend analyses.
Coach and mentor employees in lean six sigma tools and techniques (problem solving, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) and other frameworks applicable to the need of the business.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Lead large cross-functional projects, discovery sessions, and facilitate improvements in operating performance through fundamental rethinking and redesign of core processes. Analyzes and validates data and recommends changes or improvements based on the results of the analyses.
Manage and monitor standardized project trackers in ZALORA for tracking and monitoring purposes
Daily project management tasks such as identifying and managing risks, taking corrective action and managing stakeholder expectations
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Promote lean six sigma understanding and efforts to create a sustainable continuous improvement culture in the organization
Effective and comfortable communicator to Middle and Upper Management
Creates a working environment that promotes positive employee attitudes, effective communications, trust, collaboration, creativity and optimal productivity.
Requirements:
At least 3+ years of experience in E-Commerce, Tech, consultancy, startup or similar environment
A completed Bachelor's Degree
Work experience in project management and proven success in implementing continuous improvement projects or initiatives
Excellent working knowledge of different project management principles and practices (Traditional, Agile, Hybrid, etc)
Excellent executional, coaching and teamwork skills
Excellent time management skills managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Comfortable working with data
Systematic and process oriented thinker, meaning there is ability to connect the dots to form the bigger picture yet able to understand the details of the process
Self-starter who is passionate about making a difference in the Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle, Tech or E-commerce space
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Any other relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum, etc)
Experience in program management, change management or transformational skills
Thrive or able to work in ambiguous environments and situations
Strong situational awareness
Experience in RPA
