The Role
As an Operational and Market Risk Officer, you will be responsible for managing operational risk management including business continuity management, and analyzing and reporting of operational risk information to relevant senior management and/or committees for managing and controlling operational risks in a manner consistent with policy and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations both local and Group; Responsible for managing market and liquidity risk management
How you'll contribute
Formulate and maintain operational risk management policies and procedures including business continuity management policy, business continuity plan, crisis manage plan and have the approval from BOD
Develop and implement operational risk management framework and tools (Risk Control Self-assessment, Key Risk Indicators, Loss Incident reporting, Outsourcing management, Business Continuity Management) according to the requirement of regulators
Identify, measure and monitor operational risks associated with business product and process activities including new product initiatives
Implement and execute business continuity management (BCM) policy, procedure, framework, business continuity plan (BCP), crisis management plan, test and review, and communicate and train to all level of employee
Analyze and report operational risk information to the company - senior management, relevant committees - Operational risk management unit
Develop market/liquidity risk management policy; monitor and prepare monitoring report per regulator/Krungsri group requirement
Implement liquidity risk management system, projected cash flow mismatch or liquidity gap (Contractual, Behavior and stress test scenarios), liquidity gap in significant foreign currency, liquidity warning indicators and perform stress test scenarios at least cover institution-specific crisis and market-wide crisis and a combination of both and formulate contingency fund plan (CFP) etc. to comply with group policies and regulatory requirement
Ensuring data accuracy and submit the data as required by counterparts in compliance with the BOT's Full Consolidation Regulation
What we're looking for
Must have Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields
Experienced in Operational risk management or Enterprise Risk Management or Business Continuity Management in banking/financial service sector at least 3-5 years
Must have knowledge in operational risk management in banking/financial service sector
Must have knowledge in regulatory requirements and current regulatory development in banking/financial service sector
Should know how to set up policies, framework and risk management system as well as implementation of operational risk management tools such as risk control self-assessment, key risk indicator, operational risk incident report, and etc.
Must be self-motivated, adaptable, problem solver and a team player with positive attitude, high work commitment and strong business acumen in financial and risk management
Must be systematic and analytical thinking, enthusiastic and smart- / hard-working
Must have good attitude, pro-active, mature and able to work independently
