OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
 
Job Description:
This position involves providing assistance and coordination in various operational activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining documentation, and contributing to the overall smooth functioning of the plant.
Provide support in the start-up, shutdown, and routine operation of plant equipment and systems, following established protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with plant operators and technicians to perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment to detect and address any malfunctions or abnormalities.
Compile and maintain operational logs, records, and reports, documenting key data such as operating parameters, equipment performance, maintenance activities, and incidents.
Support the implementation of safety procedures and protocols, including conducting safety inspections, promoting a safety culture, and participating in emergency response drills and exercises.
Assist in the coordination of maintenance activities, including scheduling and monitoring planned maintenance, repairs, and equipment upgrades, while minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Must be a Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer.
Knows how to drive and possess a valid Driver's License
Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in plant operations, including emergency response and hazard identification.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with a diverse team and provide clear and concise instructions or reports.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and data management.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging and sometimes demanding conditions, including exposure to noise, heat, heights, and confined spaces.
Willingness to work flexible hours
Willingness to travel
