The Marine Audit Officer conducts the end-to-end audit of vessel loading and discharging activity for SEAOIL terminals and depots to monitor oil variances (gain/loss)
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Prepares vessel audit / inspection plan
2. Prepares and conducts the observation of vessel loading and discharging activity, and performs a variance analysis for oil gain / loss
3. Prepares and conducts vessel equipment inspections
4. Consolidates audit findings and observation summary. Provides an evaluation and recommendations based on the results.
5. Creates vessel audit reports to be submitted to immediate head
6. Prepares the quarterly vessel variance performance summary
7. Coordinate with the vessel master / crew onboard during operation from time to time
8. Conduct special audit of depot/terminal with exceptionally high variance or assist the team in conducting investigation of referred cases related to terminal and depot operation.
Qualifications:
Graduate of a four-year course relating to Graduate of BS Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Management Accounting or any 4-year business course.
Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not required)
At least 1-2 years of experience in auditing (internal or external), from any industry.
Adept in auditing and variance analysis.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, detail orientation, problem solving skills, analytical and planning skills.
Above average verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).
Expectations from Candidates
Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
