Job Summary: We are looking for an Officer (Health, Environment, and Safety) to join SEAOIL Philippines, Inc. As a Health, Environment, and Safety Officer, you are tasked to ensure that the operation is running smoothly on a daily basis. You should also have awareness to safety hazards and risks in the operations. Job Description: 1. Ensures that environmental policies are carried out in accordance with government regulations and company procedures. 2. Works with all employees, contractors, and visitors to ensure that all safety policies, procedures, and regulations are fully adhered to across the site on an ongoing basis. 3. Reviews safety measures and guidelines in the port and suggest improvement as may be necessary. 4. Recommends, implements, and maintains approved safety plans, policies, objectives, and responsibilities subject for approval by the Health, Environment, and Safety Manager. 5. Ensures that all personnel assigned to work in the plant/depot have been trained properly or indoctrinated in safety, firefighting, and product handling. 6. Assists ship security officers in confirming the identity of those seeking to board the ship, when requested. 7. Conducts safety meetings and trainings, as required. 8. Handles waste management plan in the plant/depot. Job Qualifications: Graduate of a four-year course relating to any course, and from reputable universities. Mandatory forty (40) - hour basic OSH training course applicable to the industry Additional forty - eight (48) hours of advanced/ specialized occupational safety training course relevant to the industry AND other requirements as prescribed by OSH standards At least two (2) years of experience in OSH Computer Literate (Powerpoint, Excel, Google Drive and Google Sheet), Know how to use Multigas Detector Great in Presentation Skills, Listening and Communication Skills, Great under pressure, and problem solving Preferably with industry background in Oil/Gas would be an advantage A day in the life of a Health, Environment, and Safety Officer would involve: 1. Regular inspection of the operation and checking the readiness and availability of fire extinguishers 2. assisting issues rergarding trucks 3. random truck inspection 4. Does operations meeting and weekly meeting with contractors 5. OT is minimal and the work related travel depends on the HES manager regarding the projects and activities
