The role of the Logistics Assistant is to provide support in documenting and implement deliveries to clients according to agreed-upon deadlines in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate Delivery Receipts based on the daily dispatch schedule.
Maintain a Summary of Deliveries per project to reflect what quantities have been delivered and remain to be delivered.
Communicate delivery statuses to all internal customers.
Schedule inter-island shipping and external trucking delivery requirements with third-party suppliers as necessary.
Produce other administrative and ad hoc reports to support logistics activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
Two (2) years working experience in the related field is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Must be hardworking, honest and responsible.
Can work with minimum supervision.
Possesses good communication and people skills.
