The company has made its way to cater total IT Solutions as part of business diversification from structured cabling and network infrastructure supply.
 
Need Ink started as an ink refilling station and opened its 1st outlet on October 2003 at GMC Arcade Pajo Lapu Lapu City. After 3 months, the 2nd outlet was opened on January 2004 at N&N Arcade, Mandaue City.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE
 
General Qualifications:
A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
At least one (1) year nurse work experience, preferably as an occupational health nurse in a manufacturing industry.
Registered Nurse, OHNAP-accredited Nurse is preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
(Company Policies and Procedures Compliance)
Participates actively in environment, health, safety and community related activities to contribute in providing a safe, secure and healthy workplace in TIIC.
Takes active responsibility in complying with the company’s code of discipline.
Ensures compliance and effective implementation of TIC quality management systems.
Ensures all company issued gadgets/equipment/vehicle are properly accounted and monitored.
Ensures efficient use, proper handling and storage of company resources.
(Health Care Management)
Provides initial treatment services to medical concerns of TIIC employees
Provides initial emergency care to employees injured at work prior to transfer to a hospital of the arrival of professional emergency medical services.
Assists company physicians in the conduct of health assessment and curative procedures to employees
Establishes sustainable systems to monitor and document the health status of all employees.
Conducts assessment of the occupational health hazards in the workplace and provides possible interventions.
Establishes and implements effective operational systems of respective clinic facilities including among others medical records management, clinic equipment maintenance, medicine and other medical consumable inventory management etc.
Provides trainings/information awareness to employees and as required other TIIC stakeholders (e.g. Canteen personnel) on the company’s Occupational Health policies and programs as well as other medical-related topics.
Develops and implements relevant policies and guidelines on government-mandated Occupational Health programs such as but not limited to HIV/Aids Program, PTB Mgt., Hepatitis B Mgt., Drug Free Workplace Program as well as other disease prevention and wellness programs relevant to the existing hazards brought about by respective facility operations.
(Legal Compliance)
Responsible for ensuring TIIC’s compliance to Philippine Occupational Health Laws and Regulations, TIIC Occupational Health policies and other related industry standards/ best management practices.
Ensures TIIC’s compliance to regulatory requirements set by DOH and other government agencies relevant to Occupational Health.
Serve as TIIC’s liaison to DOH and other relevant government agencies, LGUs, NGOs and other stakeholder entities in matters related to Occupational Health.
Supports the OHS Officer in the conduct of workplace injury incident investigations and helps in identifying appropriate mitigations.
Supports the OHS Officer in the conduct of periodic inspections/audits to ensure sustainability of OHS programs.
Keeps abreast with new or revised Occupational Health regulations and latest available technologies/ research relating to Occupational Health.
Supports the Safety Officer (SO) in ensuring TIIC’s compliance to local and international Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
