About The Role
Provide high quality, comprehensive rehabilitation health services coordination. Support development and implementation of occupational health programs and initiatives in accordance with Orica's Standards and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
• Ensuring that health assessments are performed to Company and legislative standards.
• Develop health monitoring plans with line management
• Advise management where the findings at health assessment may adversely impact on work capacity or indicate excessive work exposures.
• Liaise with medical practitioners where required.
• Provide professional nursing advice and assessment on management of specific injuries or illnesses
• Assessment and nursing management of injuries and illnesses occurring at work. Provision of treatment as required via phone.
• Ensuring accurate, complete and confidential health records are maintained and securely stored.
• Enter Health Assessments into Enablon database
• Coordinate the Drug & Alcohol random testing program where applicable.
What You Bring
• Registered General Nurse
• Qualification In Occupational Health
• Senior First Aid
• Advanced Resuscitation
• At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing, mining, oil & gas environment environment with skills in medicine, hygiene, ergonomics, rehabilitation, toxicology and safety.
• Demonstrated ability to assess and appropriately manage occupational and non-occupational illness and injury.
• Knowledge of occupational health and hygiene principles and practices, and the ability to resource and implement specialist information.
