The Cebu Puericulture Center and Maternity House, Inc founded in 1922 is the pioneer institution of its kind with 50 bed capacity. It is dedicated to the upliftment of maternal and child welfare. Its specific goals are to guide mother through pregnancy toward a safe delivery through prenatal services, to provide the best maternal and infant health care at the lowest cost possible through OB-GYN services, to attend to the needs of newborn and to the full recovery of the mother through its postnatal services and sustain high quality of professional services through the Philippine OB-GYN Society (POGS) which monitors the efficiency and quality of training services.
 
The Nurse Supervisor is primarily responsible on overseeing patient's welfare and providing direction to all personnel under his / her team during the shift schedule. He / she makes sure that the entire operation is running smoothly and effectively as per approved procedures.
 
Her / his duties and responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:
Regularly coordinates with other department of the institution for an effective and efficient operation of the nursing services.
Collaborates with personnel, administration and physicians to evaluate patient care status, needs and standards.
Periodically monitors head nurses and staff nurses in relation to standard procedures recommends measures to enhance employee performance.
Reviews and recommends trainings for staff that may be necessary in the conduct of their respective work assignment.
Assists when needed during schedule patient operation.
Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by his / her superior from time to time.
