Description
1. Assist the authorized users during each radiotherapy treatment procedure
2. Prepare the necessary supplies and ancillary devises essential to the performance of radiotherapy treatment procedures
3. Responsible for the outmost care of patients who are undergoing radiotherapy treatment procedures
4. Alert the RSO or authorized users in the event of an actual or perceived emergency
5. Provide information and comfort for patients (and caregivers) and encourage their cooperation throughout each radiotherapy treatment procedure
6. RECEPTIONIST. Act as information officer of the Center
7. MEDICAL SECRETARY. Provide secretarial and clerical services for doctors and the Center
a. Receive referrals and visitors; attend to needs promptly and courteously and refer them promptly
b. Attend to all inquiries about the services offered by the Center
c. Control traffic in the reception area
d. Consult the Medical Physicist regarding schedules and preparations required for the procedure
e. Inform patients and doctors about schedules and adjust schedules whenever necessary
f. Ensure that all patients are properly handed over to and immediately attended to by the concerned section
g. Explain costs and fees of services to patients, charge, and instruct them on payment procedures
h. Prepare Patient Record for proper endorsement
i. Safekeep, file and archive all patient treatment records
