Duties and responsibilities
Assists in the development, design, implementing, evaluation and monitoring of health programs and projects.
Provides prevention and remedial measure for simple and common ailments and give first aid treatment.
Ensures systematic health appraisal, treatment and follows up.
Screens students and refer to physician or dentist, if necessary.
Notifies parent/guardian, on the health condition of the client.
Refers clients to a health care provider for further evaluation and follow-ups on all referred patients.
Ensures the availability of the services of the clinic to all clients.
Coordinates with the Medical Officer for the provision of needed health facilities, medicines and supplies.
Acts as a resource person and participate in the information dissemination of health matters.
Participate in sports and other school activities. Provide medical assistance during sports and other University activities.
Prepares and submits periodic reports of accomplishment.
Maintains and organizes of health records.
Identifies cases of communicable diseases and refer cases to proper authorities and agencies.
Supervise junior nurses.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Experience:
One (1) year of relevant experience
Training:
Four (4) hours of relevant training
Expertise :
Clinical Skills; Risk Management; Knowledge of Data Access and Protection, and Frontline Services Legislations; Interpersonal Skills; Communication Skills
