Job Description:
General Responsibility
Accurate and timely payroll of employees and training allowance of trainees.
Keeping complete and organized payroll, statutory contributions, and other payroll-related files.
On-time tax and statutory benefit remittances.
Essential functions
Computes company payroll.
Computes wages, incentives, benefits, and deductions per employee, including reconciliation.
Preparing journal entries to record the compensation-related expenses (semi-monthly payroll and adjustments).
Review and reconciliation of compensation-related account schedules to support month-end balances.
Gather payment method of new-hire, including payroll account opening.
Conduct compensation-related orientation to new-hires.
Process remittances of statutory contribution.
Prepare final pay computation.
Prepare salary and allowance monthly accrual schedule.
Complies with applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to compensation and benefits payment.
Assists in creating and implementing policies and procedures to identify and resolve control issues related to payroll and other benefit payments.
Attend continuing education seminars/training to keep abreast with developments in labor standards.
Other tasks and reports that may be assigned from time to time as business need arise.
Performance Expectation

Accurate computation and timely reporting of employee taxes
Adaption of latest relevant regulations
Proactive in pre-empting or resolving work-related issues, and improving existing processes.
Qualifications
2 years experience in compensation and benefit processing and accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Experience in the BPO industry is an advantage
Experience in accounting systems
KSA
Knowledge in Labor Standards, particularly employee compensation and benefits
Strong GL accounting and reconciliation background
Detail-oriented and thorough
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Mathematical and analytical skills
Communication and vendor relationship skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
